Built an active community of 50+ engaged women entrepreneurs and professionals
Building a prosperous Africa where women lead, invest, and thrive.
African Network of Women Entrepreneurs Initiative (ANWEI–Nigeria) was founded to bring women together who share the same goals, helping them work together, mentor each other, and support one another as entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals.
It was established as part of the larger ANWEI network that operates in several African countries, ANWEI-Nigeria works to create opportunities for women and girls to thrive in society, business, and their careers, while also highlighting the important role they play in Africa’s growth.
Under the leadership of Amb. Lady Ola-Rose Ironkwe, our Country Representative, we coordinate programs that equip women and girls with resources, training, and platforms needed to succeed in business, education, and community leadership.
To empower African women and girls with the skills and support they need to lead, invest, and succeed in life and business through entrepreneurship, money management, access to funding, leadership training, and mentorship.
To build a prosperous Africa where women lead, own, and influence economic systems.
We aim to strengthen economic independence, reduce post-harvest losses, and promote national food security by providing women, youth, and micro-entrepreneurs with access to modern agro-processing facilities, skills training, and business support
We work honestly and openly, taking responsibility for our actions, and follow values of fairness, inclusion, non-violence, and social justice.
We believe that when women and girls come together, support one another, and get the resources they need to succeed, all of Africa benefits.
ANWEI-Nigeria is a non-profit, non-political organization focused on bridging gaps in women’s economic empowerment. We bring together professionals, educators, investors, and women entrepreneurs passionate about fostering sustainable growth.
